You can get to know the colorful phases of Finnish military history through the exhibitions of the Military Museum located in Suomenlinna. The exhibitions in the Military Museum´s Manege and the Artillery Manege will take you from the Finnish Civil War of 1918 through the struggles of World War II and on to the 21st century.

The exhibition at the Military Museum's Manege covers the Finnish Civil War 1918, the Winter War of 1939–1940, the Continuation War of 1941–1944 and the Lapland War of 1944–1945. The Artillery Manege presents Finnish WW II frontline art, and there is also an exhibition showing the life of a soldier in both wartime and peacetime. In addition, there are changing exhibitions on various topics related to Finnish military history.
